Online Osteopathic consultation & Face to face appointments are availbale from 1st of June!

Due to our current situation, we need to adapt and implement alternative treatment methods to address Musculoskeletal aches and pains. Although you may be living with discomfort and/or pain at this time NHS staff are having to be deployed to more critical services. I understand that you may be worried that there is no help or support for you, and you may be concerned it could be something serious.

Let me offer you a possible alternative solution…

Online Osteopathy

This cannot replace hands-on therapy, but it may offer a proactive solution through this global crisis.

Let me explain how the system works:

  1. Consultation
  2. Movement assessment
  3. Diagnosis
  4. Advice
  5. Exercise prescription
  1. Like in a face-to-face consultation I will take you through a detailed case history, and you will be asked questions about your medical history and lifestyle, as well as any symptoms you may be experiencing. This is very important, as it will help build a picture of your life and what you expect of your body.
  1. When is possible and indicated a thorough specific movement assessment system will be used. I will be using a blend of evidence-based Selective Functional Movement and classic Orthopaedic assessment techniques to determine what structures may be causing your pain or discomfort.
  1. I analyse all the information then work with you to make a plan for your recovery.
  1. The online treatment package will include advice on modifications on day to day activities, postural guidance, rehabilitative exercise protocols, and stretching routines tailored to your medical history.

How does it work?

After completing the booking, you will receive a link with an easy step-by-step guide to access your live video consultation.

The consultation has two phases:

Step One:

Video consultation and movement assessment and arrange follow-up appointment. In the meantime, I will analyse your case history and create a structured rehabilitation plan.

Step Two:

At our second video session after I demonstrate the exercises I will guide you through them to ensure that your form is correct and modify according to your needs.

Rehab online correctly with an osteopath

Being an osteopath the primary focus would be to move well and injury-free.
