Meet Maisie

Maisie, osteopath at Notts Osteopathy

About Maisie

Maisie graduated from Swansea University with a master’s degree in Osteopathy. She has a particular interest in musculoskeletal health, having spent 12 years as a gymnast, during which she experienced a number of injuries herself. These experiences sparked her interest in understanding the body, injury and rehabilitation, ultimately leading her to pursue a career in Osteopathy.

Maisie has gained experience working in both private and NHS clinics, where she treated a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. She uses a variety of treatment techniques, including joint mobilisations, soft tissue/ massage and joint manipulations, adapting her approach to suit each individual and their presentation.

Maisie takes a patient-centred approach to treatment, aiming to help patients understand their condition and feel more confident in managing their symptoms. Her own background in gymnastics has given her an appreciation of the impact that injury can have on an individual’s ability to participate in activities they enjoy.
