Book appointment

Practically next door

Gedling and Mapperley run into one another, so for most of the village we are a five minute drive. Park on the drive and walk straight in.

Because it is that close, we see a lot of people early — seven o'clock appointments, Monday to Thursday — who then go on to work as though nothing has happened.

Gardens, dogs and the country park

The complaints we hear from this direction have a pattern to them. A weekend spent turning over a garden, a dog that pulls, a walk round the country park that went further than the knee wanted. Ordinary things, done enthusiastically, on a body that was not warmed up for them.

That is squarely what osteopathy is for. Have a look at hip pain and knee pain if either of those sounds familiar.

What to expect on the day

Wear something you can move in. We may need to see the area we are treating, and shorts and a t-shirt save a conversation about it. You are welcome to bring someone in with you.

Treatment is hands-on: soft tissue work, stretching, and joint articulation, adjusted to what you can tolerate on the day. Nothing happens without being explained first, and anything you would rather not have done, we do not do.
